After 30 years of combined real estate investment experience, we’ve discovered that short-term rentals have become a prime investment in this market because they are now a firmly established market with high returns. Furthermore, stability of residential values, growth in the industry, and amount of cashflow provide an ideal platform to take advantage of all of the benefits of real estate investments.
We target National Parks, beaches, and other destination areas that have a long and growing history of regional, national, or international tourism. We also target mid-size projects so we can take advantage of economies of scale, which helps drive down our expenses while providing pricing power in rental rates. While regulations are more difficult, we create investments in locations and with home styles where we are confident in the stability of market demand.
We build or redevelop properties because it gives us a competitive advantage with designs specifically for use as short-term rentals on the sites we choose. Furthermore, upon completion of the project, we retain what would otherwise be profits to a developer and builder. This gives us the equity to target a return of 50% or more of our investors’ capital upon refinance after construction is complete.
